The app does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. It does not require an account, does not use analytics or advertising SDKs, and does not track you across apps or websites.
Content
The app fetches its quotes and stories from a content database we maintain, so the daily content can be updated without requiring an app update. This request does not include any personal or device-identifying information — it simply retrieves the day's content. Quotes are also cached on your device so the app continues to work offline.
Sharing
When you use the "Share" feature, the app hands off content (text or an image you generate) to the native iOS share sheet or to a third-party app you choose (such as WhatsApp, Instagram, or X). We do not see or store what you share, and any data handling from that point on is governed by that third-party app's own privacy policy.
Photo Library Access
If you choose to save a quote card as an image, the app requests permission to add that single image to your Photos library. The app does not read, browse, or access any other photos on your device.
Third-Party Services
Marcus Says does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
Children's Privacy
The app does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same URL with a revised "Last updated" date.
